Expansion of Production Capacities

FARMAK Moravia, a.s. focuses on the development and production of unique products in the field of cosmetics, food supplements and medical devices.

To expand its production capacity, it decided to reconstruct the production facility in the Farmak Olomouc area.

Our company prepared the project documentation for the building permit and the executive documentation in the BIM system.

Subsequently, as the general contractor, we carried out a complete reconstruction of the facility to build cleanrooms of cleanliness class „D“, including the output module of the packaging line and personnel air-lock.

As part of the reconstruction of the building, the extensive layout changes were made to the interior spaces. The parts of the building for material entry were also reconstructed, and the steel structures were installed on the 1st floor to place the HVAC and central heating technology.

The cleanrooms are partly glazed, so that it is possible to look into the production areas with cutting-edge technology. The total area of the new cleanrooms of cleanliness class „D“ is 305 m2. The materials and components that meet the specific requirements for use in cleanrooms were used for the construction of the cleanrooms.

The work also included building technical systems such as HVAC, cooling, heating, sanitary installation, low voltage electrical systems and lighting, fire alarm and detection system, instrumentation and control system etc. The cooling unit was placed in front of the building and the cooling pipe distribution was bridged over the existing road.

When putting the cleanrooms into operation, we carried out the complete regulation of HVAC, cooling, heating and qualification of the cleanrooms.

The construction work took place while other production processes in the building were in operation.
